I was sitting behind an MPV from the mid 2000's in traffic and wondered what it would look like if Mazda brought it back. This is an meh render I guess. Gets you thinking though.
Other gens. I don’t think I had ever seen a third gen as they didn’t come over here. Looks....odd . In my opinion Mazda’s 2010-2016 design language looked like garbage on all their cars.

Well as an MPV it might look odd, because it actually looks more like a Mazda 5.
And the wheel / wheel well proportion is off.

the 5 is awesome! Too bad they don’t make it anymore :(

Is it just a mazda5? Looks longer, but that could be the photo.
Yeah, the render has CX3 wheels that look copy pasted on and are the wrong size.

The problem (besides the weird wheel perspective) is the plastic cladding. Clean up the wheel arches and it wouldnt be too bad!
If I had kids and there was a Mazda5 that looked that good, I’d probably still sell them and just buy a Miata.

Oh no, definitely a chop. Mazda5 was never updated for the Kodo language, it died right before it.

I had a 92 MPV for a while, it was a strange van, 3.0 V6 and RWD, it could do burnouts and 120MPH, its like no one told it that it was a minivan. Was fun to drive until till the transmission decided that reverse, neutral and 1st should fuse together to form one non-functional super gear...
